MILLENIUM LATINO PROJECT - 08/16/2025

We are incredibly grateful to the Millennium Latino Project for organizing and inviting us to be part of Connect for Community: Civic Engagement Series Part Two. This was a powerful opportunity to engage directly with Lynn residents, answer important questions, and talk about what school committee members do to serve our students and families.
Special thanks to El Centro Lynn and Jesse Lobato for hosting this event in such a welcoming and inclusive space. Events like this remind us how vital community connection and informed civic participation truly are.
The event also gave Brenda a valuable platform to share her experience as a seasoned educator and district leader. She spoke about her priorities for Lynn’s students, families, and educators—centered on equity, mental health, academic achievement, and authentic family engagement.
From conversations with residents to exploring local youth-focused resources, the day was filled with meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and shared vision. We left feeling energized and more committed than ever to keeping our schools accessible, equitable, and responsive to our community’s needs.

CONNERY ELEMENTARY GUEST READER - 07/30/25

On July 30th, I had the privilege of reading to the amazing kids at the Community Summer Camp at Connery Elementary School, where we shared two powerful books - All Because You Matter and Firebird. These stories remind every child of their worth, their strength, and the limitless possibilities ahead.
Literacy is more than reading—it’s the foundation for confidence, opportunity, and community. When we invest in literacy, we empower our children to dream bigger and believe in themselves.
It was an inspiring day to celebrate stories that matter and voices that deserve to be heard.
WARD 3 COMMUNITY MOVIE NIGHT AT GOLDFISH POND - 07/26/2025

Thank you to Councilor Coco Alinsug, the Goldfish Pond Association, and the incredible Ward 3 residents for such a warm welcome and the chance to share my vision and qualifications for Lynn School Committee.
It was an evening filled with great conversations, community spirit, and even a little movie magic with Wicked playing under the stars.
I also had the pleasure of connecting with members of the Brickett PTO and students and faculty from Lynn Tech—conversations like these remind me why I’m committed to building a stronger future for Lynn’s schools.
Together, we can keep moving our city forward.

JIM & BILLY'S FLOWER PARTY - 07/12/2025
Thank You, Jim and Billy!
A huge thank you to Jim Moser and Bill Moser for hosting such a beautiful flower gathering! Their breathtaking garden and warm hospitality brought our community together in the best way possible.
I’m so grateful to Jim and Bill for opening their home to support this campaign and creating an incredible space to connect with so many amazing Lynn residents. Events like this remind me why I’m running—because when we come together, we can build the future our students, families, and educators deserve.
Thank you, Jim and Bill, for your friendship, support, and commitment to Lynn’s future.

CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF EVENT - 05/21/25

On May 21st, we officially kicked off this campaign—and what a night it was!
I’m still filled with gratitude for everyone who came out to support, for my incredible campaign team whose dedication made the event possible, and for the community that continues to inspire me every single day.
A special thank you to Dr. Aaron Jennings for his thoughtful and powerful introduction. Your words set the tone for this campaign and reminded us why this work is so important.
May was just the beginning. Together, we’ve built momentum, and we’re only getting started. Let’s keep working for the students, families, and educators of Lynn!
